Dynamics 365 ERP adds Copilot AI functionality

Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 ERP system has received new Copilot artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to automate manual processes in project management, finance, and procurement. In Dynamics 365 Project Operations, AI assists project managers in creating project plans, suggesting resource assignments, and flagging project risks while suggesting mitigation plans.

Copilot-enabled Dynamics 365 Finance enables collection agents to access credit and payment histories to prioritize customer accounts, improve customer communications, and ensure timely payment. Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management uses AI to help customers adjust purchase orders and evaluate risks, with Microsoft planning to release the new features in the October update.
